Wax Carving & Sand casting Workshop (Full day, 6-7 hours)

The workshops take place in the studio in Berlin (Schöneberg).
You will learn the wonderful art of wax carving, the special sand casting process, and how to work with the cast silver ring.
In just one day, you will create your very own unique ring.
In this workshop, you will go through the entire process of creating a ring - from the initial idea to the highly polished finished piece.
First, I will start with a brief introduction to the different types of wax and tools. Then you will design and model the ring out of wax. Next, we will cast it in silver using the sand casting technique; if you like, you can even have gemstones cast into it. Then you will finish and polish your piece of jewelry.
General information: The workshop is designed for beginners - no prior knowledge is necessary. The number of participants is limited to two people. This is because it is particularly important to me to be able to support you at all times.
Cost: €259 per person - including up to 10 g of sterling silver, wax, use of tools, and a list of all the tools you'll need if you want to continue afterward.
